I think that him choosing Atlanta will work out best for Saints. Guy has too much baggage and you have to risk too many assets with his current situation.

Imagine us courting Pat Mahomes before Drew retired, and make Drew and Ryan’s cap numbers equal, would you not give Drew a minute to figure out which way he wanted to approach it? Yep, I’d be all in on Mahomes, but Drew deserves a minute before we just throw him under the bus. Ryan deserves a minute. Atlanta has to figure it out one way or another. Not mad that they’re giving Ryan a minute. I hope Watson gets antsy.

The Ryan piece is only relevant if Watson is going to Atl. Atl has made it clear they prefer Watson over Ryan. If the point of the delay is to take care of Ryan, then Watson is acting in bad faith towards the Saints by making them wait for his decision, that is already made in this scenario
