And say what you want, but if ya’ll didnt notice Drew Brees checking into passes for a majority of the first half, you need to look closer

We barely had the ball in the first half. Hell our only drive of the 1st quarter is a TD if Kamara doesn’t slip.

Maybe you could say it about the 2nd drive (started off with a screen to Murray) of the game (3 and out after a BS false start) but the 3rd drive we were balanced. And the 4th drive was hurry up.

So where are all the plays he checked out in the first half? There’s maybe 1 you could say from our 2 unsuccessful drives. Atlanta held the ball the entire quarter

Now the second half? Absolutely

Agreed about the Kamara slip. That was critical.

abandoning the running game caused this L

yep

all i can fathom is they thought drew needed a 600 yard game to pad his stats and thats all they looked at completely discounting the birds were capable of beating them

Our runs in the first half were for 1, 8, 0, 3, and 6 yards. How in the hell are we supposed to win with that? With Atlanta possessing the ball on long drives, and with Atlanta's penchant for terrible pass defense, I don't mind the passing. The OL (and DL) got whipped. A beating as bad as the Rams game. Throw in the penalties, and the Kamara slip, and you get a perfect storm of miserable football.

I don't understand why you would keep running the ball with second-and-9.

Fot those ripping on Brees for checking out of runs, Drew put the ball on the hands of the WR's and balls were dropped, or there were penalties, or the OL gave up heat.

I’m very nervous this is going to be like last season where the offense just fell off a cliff and the fun times ended.

Oh, we name-calling now, huh? Let's look at your original points, Peabrain.

Drew checked out of way too many runs. Same old Brees mistake, too trigger happy.

You mean to tell me a HOFer who's read more defenses than you have read books checked into a favorable play call?

Sean’s too ready to unleash the pass after running all season. Same old Payton mistake that used to cost us games. Too pass happy and too cute.

Yeah, a coach on the eve of a SB berth 2 consecutive years has decided to pass the ball against arguably the worst pass defense in the NFL?

What happens? We run 11 times even though it was working. No TOP and we get slow grinded for a loss by the falcons.

It was NOT working. I stated the play calls. You advocate running the ball on second and long? Third and long? What heat would Payton get if he did that against a poor pass defense?

Say what you want, but Teddy is still in and we still go run heavy. And probably still win.

Say what I want, eh? You are an idiot. Teddy would have made Ginn catch the ball? Teddy would have made Kamara NOT stumble wearing those ridiculous clown shoes?

Drew and Sean blew this game. Not saying Teddy’s better than Drew but reality is reality.

Pour on the idiocy. The OL lost this game. The DL right behind them.

We shouldve ran the ball 25 plus times. Wtf happened? I though Sean realized this in 2017 again, and we’ve been good since.

Keep repeating this garbage. I'm going to give Payton more credit in knowing how to win NFL games than yourself.

Edit: Im sure Sean realizes this and I bet we run the shite out the ball next game.

Oh yeah, right. Payton received advice from the likes of you and said "Peabrain has a point. Let's run the ball against the Bucs! And tell Ginn to catch the ball! And tell 41 to stand up!"
