I don't get it

Can the league and the population of north America really think that the saints were the only team to have incentives between players/coaches for big hits? That's what it boils down to. Im surprised that no one has produced a stat showing what teams handed out he most contact injurIes. I feel pretty certain the saints would be on the bottom half as soft as they were last year.

No, what it mainly boils down to is that the Saints were warned to stop and didn't. They then went into cover up and lie mode. That is why they are in trouble.
I do think the media outrage is stupid though and the NFL is acting like total jackasses. In the grand scheme of things, the Saints should get a nice fine and life should go on.

No, but someone has to take the blame. The NFL is doing it for PR reasons, and other fans are willfully ignorant because they're so happy it wasn't their team that got busted.

High school teams get stickers on their helmets for big hits or good play. These guys are millionaires, I find it hard to take the $ amount for these bountys seriously when these guys spend more than that on rims for their new rides or pinky rings. I wouldn't try to end some ones career for $1500 bucks u can't convince these millionaires would. Maybe just casual game for them, but I don't think they were out for blood for that kind of chump change. That pay is cheaper than a mob hit in NOLA
