Ok, three weeks in and now you are what you are. I do not blame it all on Allen, I think he has the ability to be a really good head coach and I still think it was a good hire and for all the right reasons.
However, I think elevating Carmicheal to OC is showing us all who he is. He is not Payton in any form and as I sustpected he was Payton's Administrator coach handling the admnistrative task while Payton tended to HC duties.
Carmicheal has never shown much fire that you see from good young coaches. Payton had it, Allen has it. That fire and excitement creates the players drive and creates that fear of "don't mess up" mentality.
What Allen has to do now is makes someone an example of this play is not going to be tolerated.
