Not sure about the picks, but the positions are perfect.

Quintez Cephus better be good. It's hard to forget a name like that.

Not crazy. Hall is good but has played about a month of football in the last two years. May be good who knows

I could definitely roll with this draft. Only problem is I don't see us getting Murray if we stay put on pick # 24. We will almost certainly need to move up to possibly keep the Raiders or New England from taking him.

I think it would be more likely that Queen may be available at 24. That would definitely work for me.

Cephus is an outstanding receiver and would be a great value pickup if we got him late in the draft. His tape speaks for itself, although I was surprised that he ran like a 4.7 40 at the combine. To his credit, he did 23 reps on the bench.

That's pretty much why Mike Thomas went mid 2nd round. That & he played in a heavy running offense.

I don’t recall Michael Thomas ever being projected in the first round. I think he was always kind of a second rounder due to a lack of production out of college. He ran a 4.57 which is fine for bigger receivers. Cepheus ran a 4.56 in his pro day so he improved from his combine. I like Cepheus in the late rounds. One of the top cb prospects said that Cepheus was the best receiver that he has played against. I think it was Okudah

Would love Cephus

Not crazy about any defensive player from OU though: that unit got passed from UGA to Bama to LSU and regressed each time.

with limited picks, it hard not to like those results. if this is what the Saints finish up with, this means that they are happy with both lines...specifically Oline.

Positions are the ones we need. Although, I’d rather go for an OT/OG and WR earlier.

LSU coaches apparently said that Murray was the only guy on OU’s defense they were worried about at all, so they threw the ball to the outside and ran away from him all game. He’s talented for sure.

A great player on a bad unit does not mean he is no longer a great player. This is a team game. What's important is how HE played and looks on tape. If this were tennis then you would have a point.

Michael Thomas was also 212lbs

But he made his money:

6.80 3 cone
1.55 10yd split

Cephus 7.20 3 cone at 207lvs

Other info unavailable

Dude is not Michael Thomas

I wasn’t saying he was Michael Thomas. Someone mentioned that Michael Thomas fell to the second because of his 40 time. I was saying that he was always projected as a 2nd rounder and that the 4.57 was not a bad time considering he was a bigger receiver.

Then I mentioned that Cephus improved his 40 at his pro day since it was the main topic of discussion. The point was that a 4.56 is not a bad time for a wide receiver and he can find success in the nfl at that speed. A 4.7 would be more worrisome. There are other receivers that have done well with similar or even less speed.

You take Queen but if neither queen or Murray is there then you go a different position at 24
