Dennis Allen’s defensive calls at the end of tight games have been horrid for a while now. I can’t recall stopping a team in this type of situation in a long time.

Same way as always. Saints identity is to give fans false hope, then choke it away in the end defensively, then seal the loss with a turnover.

This x a billion. Allen’s defense is absolute crap with games on the line.

Yall are actually fricking retarded

Defense was on the field all game and the defenders ran into each other for the big TE gain

Nothing to do with his defense phags

Count the devastating last minute losses since he’s been in charge of the defense.

Minnesota 2017
Rams 2018
49ers 2019 (Kittle running down the sidelines looked a lot like today)
Minnesota 2019
Eagles 2024

I’m sure I’m missing some. I’ll also credit him for late game stops against the Panthers (2017) and the Eagles (2018) in the playoffs, but you simply cannot trust his defense to make a play at the end of games.

I’ll give them grace on the long run by Barkley, the blocking was perfect.

3 reasons why Goddert’s play should not have happened.

1. The chunk play by Goddert was because of the defensive call.
2. Goddert killed them all game.
3. The Eagles top 2 wrs were out and they had to pass to win.
