It's also a testament to the Saints drafting badly on/not prioritizing offense.

I don’t get why SP didn’t draft and groom a serviceable replacement for Brees 4-5 years ago knowing once he retired he didn’t have much.

Had Winston not gotten hurt we win a couple more and make the playoffs but still

What's with the continual threads about how they can make the playoffs? What's the point,

Are you some of you even fans at this point? Why the frick are some of you not wanting to even attempt to knock a playoff team out after you’ve seen the Saints beat Tampa Bay twice? Literally nobody thinks this is a super bowl team

It would be pointless to go to playoffs this year.

An extra week of practice is never a bad thing.

The draft position difference between finishing 8th/9th in the conference, and getting blown out in Super Wild Card weekend, is minimal.

SF remaining games: Houston, at LAR

Rams are likely playing for seed

GB will be playing for seed this weekend

I could see SF and Minny losing.

I agree.

I wanna see who comes off the Covid list for us this week though. This team desperately needs ram and armstead for the last 2 games also. Oh yeah, Harris will help out too

1 -- buy tickets

2 -- go sit in the stands to watch the game

thats the ONLY way they see the playoffs this year

Playoffs? They have not scored a touchdown in 2 of last three games.

We have trouble getting a 1st down. What is going to happen if we sneak in, lock up the 7th seed and then have to watch Micah Parsons eat Ian Book.

I dont know.. Whats the point of having a mid round first pick. Not like we are missing out on any cant miss prospects by trying.

No one thinks we are gona win anything. But this quitting shite is lame.

All things considered you dont lose anything trying to make it.

Agreed, but here’s the crazy part. With the way our D plays if we have a health Davenport, and all LBers & DBs off the COVID list; this team has a legit shot at any of the division winners. Hell, there is a chance that as the 7th seed this team would have to play TB in round 1, GB in round 2, and Rams or Dallas in NFCCG. Weird shite happens all the time in the playoffs, and I don’t expect them to make it out of WC weekend; but you can’t just assume they can’t do some damage

I think we’ll get there. I really don’t think San Fran or Minn win out. The saints will beat the panthers.

Think it will come down to the final week in Atlanta which will be a fun way to end the seasons. If saints oline and QBs can get healthy who knows what happens in the playoffs particularly when covid can ground a team.

We are in the playoffs if win out in all 3 and 4 way tie scenarios except with 3 way with Minny winning out and SF losing to LAR (only).

If Houston beats SF (no Jimmy G) and GB beats Minny…it’s win out and we’re in.

In two way tie scenarios, we are in over SF and OUT vs. MIN or PHI.

I have to laugh at the irony of being worried about us having to compete against upper tier competition when we have wins over the patriots, packers, and bucs twice

Are you serious Clark? Did we watch the same game last night?

Any given Sunday.

We would have ZERO chance at full strength against a team like the Bucs.

Are you aware we had 22 players out with covid?

Many of them starters.

Comparing last nights game to anything is shortsighted.

We have a QB who went 5-2 with 5 road games. We beat 3 division leaders in those 7 games.
We also didn’t have a real threat at W.O. Did I miss something? Why do people keep saying we have no QB. For that matter Taysom got us thru the Tampa game with a win.
