Do you think pat swilling ever played safety or traditional LB, Chad?

well yes lester. Pat Swilling did play a traditional LB role as a standing up LB in the 3-4 system. BUT i have no idea the relevance to the question as to what you are trying to interpret from my comment. I was noting to bone who was pointing out styles' sack production last year.

Even his best sack year was only 6 sacks, which would not be what is making him a top 10 pick.

The fact that he can rush at times adds to his bag, but doesn't make him an actual edge player. It makes him a potentially better version of Elliss.

bone, it proves he can rush the passer if asked to do so.

reese has 7 sacks his entire career and you are dismissing styles' 6 sacks in a year when you even admit that's not even his best skillset he has. Styles is a special player.

well you got your correct answer but you want to argue about a nothing burger.

he was a standup traditional outside LBer for Saints with an obvious pass rushing skill set.

I'm not dismissing anything and even said he is a stand up lb that can rush the passer when asked, but he is not an edge rusher that dabbles as a stand up lb.

He is far closer to Elliss' skill set (though potentially much better) than Swilling's.
