Seriously, isn't he too short?

for a slot WR? naw. he's 5-11 and change. slot WRs go down to the 5-8/5-9 range

it's how he looks carrying the ball

he's still tiny dancer

That says it all. If you can't see that when you're watching the game then drink less. Everyone has a highlight video but it's the plays that aren't on them that show what a player has.

Stop freaking dancing and hit the hole. Not every play is a TD Reg

slot receivers go over the middle and take hits..
we all know reggie can't take a hit.

Im about ready to concede to slowfro that bush cant be an every down back. we will find out this year. the guy is just tackled way too easy.

as far as reggie not taking a hit. thats bullshite. he is a pretty tough guy.. he absolutely got his bell rung in the philly playoff game and got up and came back in the game.

Reggie can most definitely take a hit. He may go down easy, but he certainly can take a hit.

Remember the hit he took from that Eagles linebacker in the 2006 playoffs? Remember the pop he took after doing his hurdle jump thing (he's taken several of these) a year or two ago (I can't remember the opponent(s))?

I think Reggie would make a fine wide receiver. Not a traditional possession receiver, but kind of like a wildcard type of player who'll play the slot or take the screens.

i agree

i don't WANT him taking hits (b/c he's looking injury prone in the NFL), but he can take hits

i don't doubt his toughness, esp for a 200 lb RB, but i doubt his body and ability to avoid those hits as a RB

as a WR you can get him the ball in space more, and he does well in space. he's not the gamebreaker that he was proclaimed to be, but he is elusive and can get 3-5 more yards by avoiding contact...if he's in space

I'm pretty sure a lot of folks reference that play, but he's certainly taken plenty of shots in his two years.

Like SFP said, I don't doubt his toughness, but I do doubt his ability to sustain that kind of punishment as a RB.

I thought it was a LB, but after a quick GIS it was #24, Sheldon Brown. Still, it was a solid hit on a swing pass (right?).

i meant he would be injury prone, in taking those hits over the middle.

thats what i was about to point out. it was a db that did that to a rb. thats really not supposed to happen.

BTW SFP, how do you feel about pierre thomas?

oh it was a stick

had a 250+ lb LB stuck bush going that fast, at that angle, he would have had internal bleeding

he's quick and tough. i don't think he can handle the load by himself, but i think thomas/stecker could be enough

both can be receivers out of the backfield also

All the haters, naysayers, negative statistical guru fricks, and anyone who comes on here all week long with this bullshite Reggie can't do this, he'll never be that type of player crap, can bet your arse are the ones on Sunday jumping up and down, hi fiving, dancing around, and spilling beer and shite when he scores TD's or gets to the first down marker and moves the chains.

Yeah, you all know it's true. Believe that one.

I believe most of us here are saints fans. that doesnt meant that we cant analyze a player on the team. what kind of fun is it to watch football brainlessly and not have opinions on players and their abilities?

I must say that I was very impressed with his runback. It wasn't much, but he can really put on a show when it comes to returning punts. I hope they let him do this during the season.
