Rebuild time? Bruh what are you talking about? The core of the team is still intact. We lost Brees who was downhill since 2018 and has been a liability. You lost Janoris, Hendrickson, and Anazlone all who have been been replaced in the draft. Hendrickson was not repeating that 2020 production. Turner should be able to offset him leaving. Anzalone was a terrible and was getting tossed left and right. Pete Werner can't be as bad as him. Janoris might be the biggest loss of the group but losing him can be mitigated to an extent. Either with the draft pick or rotating guys.

I don’t disagree with you but losing both Malcom Brown and Rankins is big, especially Rankins about to be 2 years removed from injury. More importantly Brown though

No Superbowl win the for the Saints during the next 2-3 years. That's what I'm feeling.

Saying Payton turner will just jump in and replace Hendrickson like it’s nothing is pretty ridiculous. I will say if any team can get him up quick, it’s the saints with Neilson here along with the other stout DL guys.

I liked Hendrickson and what he did here, especially being drafted kind of late, I guess mid rounds. Ended up with a good bit of sacks but dude was one of the worst I’ve seen against the run. Seeing pass catching TEs push him out of running lanes over and over got old. Turner will for sure come in and defend the run better than Hendrickson did. He may never get 13 sacks or whatever but if he can dominate against the run and be an 8-10 sack a year guy at some point I’m all for it

I would be shocked if Hendrickson ever comes any where near that ever again
