I was the same way but maybe not TOO upset with it. I'm glad we've brought in some talent on the D to boost it a little and hopefully the draft will do better. But yeah, it's way too soon. Hopefully RR can turn it around some for us. We don't need a top 5 defense for this team to be successful.

As good as I was when we hired him. I made a bunch of comparisons to the GW hire, said why he is better than spags for our team, and predicted a superbowl berth. I stand by all of those statements.

What exactly has he done to make you "feel" better Paddy?
Since they haven't played yet, or even practiced? Falling asleep at the combine? Let's just hold on at least until they put pads on before we start judging how we "feel".

I wasn't happy at all about the hire initially... Like others have said, he has never really fielded great defenses in the past, and I just don't like the Ryans' whole demeanor.
I have now come to realize that he never really had much opportunity to succeed under Jerry Jones or with a complete offensive pile of shite (browns and raiders). We are making excellent additions at great value and I am excited to see what he can do, knowing that he has Drew and our juggernaut offense to fall back on. Maybe his most aggressive scheming yet? I hope so!

I'm not sure how to feel about Ryan yet. I do feel bad for Spags considering he was thrown into the shite show last year.
