Hotels near the dome for Falcons game

there arent any "near" the dome but there are plenty within walking distance. Just stay at the Ritz

We always stay at LePavillion. Its on Poydras and within walking distance. It is real nice and you can really get some good prices on expedia.

Try Holiday Inn Superdome, It's maybe 4 Blocks from Superdome. And they also have an onsite parking garage, $20.00 charge.

LePavillion is generally the only 4.5 star hotel to show up as "downtown New Orleans" on either Hotwire or Expedia.
Usually pretty reasonable rates.
