I’m so old, I remember when the Saints would prank the rookies every Thanksgiving and tell them that a particular store was giving free turkeys away to all the players. The folks at the store were in on it and the rookies fell for it every year.
That would probably never work today because the players make real money and the way players float from team to team, the old NFL team culture is a thing of the past.
