I know he's got a pretty high salary, but, maybe worth a look for the right price.

I have always thought this guy would be a damn good fit for us. Tough as nails, blocks his arse off, makes every catch.

Only way if they’d take Meridith and a pick. If so yes.

He always pisses me off when we play against him. He’s the exact kind of player that would be a great #2 wr with Smith as the Deep threat. I think that his cap # is too high.

He's also in the last year of his current contract

Is that the guy with the migraine issue ?

You are thinking of Percy Harvin.

That is the type of move that helps the Defense and the Offense.

He's not Steve Smith, but Tate is the closest comparison to Smith there is in the league to him in terms of shiftiness, scrappiness, and just making plays drive-after-drive. I hate when we play against him.
Yes, please.
Yes, please.

how much of a cap hit would he be in a potential trade for the recipient team?
He has a 9.3 Dead Cap on the year
7 million in annual salary
1.6 in bonus and 750K in restructure (would guess this has already been absorbed)
if his cap is still the full 7 million I would pass on this...but if his cap is only remaining game checks...
3.5 - 4 million is a solid buy for a WR of Tate's caliber

nah, we good
You serious Clark? We have Thomas and a rookie and that's it. And he's one of the best runners after the catch in the league.

Leads the NFL in YAC (yards after catch)

So if we need someone to take the top off, Tate runs a 4.42 sec, not exactly Cooks or Ginn speed.
