Mike Martz for Defensive Coordinator!!

Seriously though, I think Marinelli gets hired.
His players play for him, no questions asked. His players respected him in Detroit. Look what happened with Cam Cameron in Miami and then Baltimore this year. Same will happen here.

I do like Marinelli but goddamn how do you not win a game all season?

I dont know how his defenses play, I do like his attitude/demeanor/drive/fire/etc A LOT.

I don't think he's been a coordinator before. He went straight from D-Line coach w/ the Bucs to HC with Detroit.

Vilma would leave.. he came to the Saints to get away from the 3-4

precisely....and we have invested some serious money in rush-ends designed for the 4-3 scheme such as Will Smith, McCray, etc.

to switch to a 3-4 would take time, money, and patience and this team is fit to win NOW with that offense...we just need some better personnel and a better scheme to fit around what we already have

Although I agree, Miami, Baltimore and Dallas switched in one year. Jets took two years to flip

Williams is known for crafting top-ranked defenses using "no-name" defensive players.

sounds great and we actually have a couple of names on defense but this would be perfect.

Detroit's defense was dead last dude. We didn't punt once when we played them. And, Marinelli ran the defense.

I'd take Martz.
