It going to happen....Atlanta matches up very well with Rams and should have no problem with a Nick Foles led Eagles struggling offense. Cam and the Panthers looked horrible today and are easily the weakest looking team in the NFC. Sean Payton will have a grea game plan for a payback matchup against the Vikes. It all comes down to a NFC South rubber match in the Superdome for the right to punch that ticket to the Superbowl.

If it happens it will be the most insane atmosphere for a playoff game ever

I think it will be Saints-Rams in the NFC championship game.

So Saints beat Panthers, Falcons beat Rams. Then Saints top Vikings and Falcons beat Eagles, making the Saints the only home team winner in 4 games before hosting the Falcons. Man, that is gonna be some scenario if it works out.

I like your optimism and hope you’re right. However, Winston had all day long to find receivers today. And he’s nowhere near the caliber of Scam Newton. I doubt we get 3 int’s off him. It’s extremely difficult to beat a team 3 times in the same season. It’s only been done 13 times in the history of the NFL. But, if they somehow get past the Panthers, I think they could beat any of the other teams in the NFC.

That Atlanta offense does not matchup well with that Rams defense. That front 4 will do work on Matt Ryan.

Winston right now is a MUCH better passer than Newton. Can't see anyone arguing that.

Eagles get the lower seed, if both the Saints and Falcons win then then Falcons would travel to Philly.

You failed to mention it had only occurred 20 Times. 13-7 for the team sweep.

Their offense was as bad as I've seen it in years today. Cam was awful, McCaffery cannot shoulder the full load of the inside run game and their receivers are basically CFL level.

Their defense is still salty and gets up for Atlanta and New Orleans, but I don't see anyway that group on offense can muster enough to beat the Saints.

Rams are gonna have to see if they've got that"on-off" switch mastered after tanking today. Really tough for young NFL players to be able to do that. You might be catching the right situation here.

I mean, if we play a complete game and they show the "wow bright playoff lights" inexperience we can certainly win.

But this team is what they are IMHO. We're a sputtering mess. Theoretically we'd be scary if we put it together, but we haven't done that in about 10 weeks. Don't see it magically happening next week.

I guess what I was getting at was that with young players a lot of the time you let them shut it down for a week after they've been doing really well, and the team does poorly without them, the natural reaction is "Well, this just proves it's been me all along...I'll just roll my helmet out on to the field this week and things will be just like they were the week before". Not so much that they're star-struck in the playoffs-more that they don't understand the enormity of the playoffs and how much different the level of play is.
