Losing Carr put the comeback on the table as a possibility. Offense stalled and kept putting the defense on the field. D was gassed. Should Grupe make that kick? Yes but this team is worthless with Winston or any other worthless backup. Get Carr back healthy and this team is fine. These are the kind of things that happen when you lose your starting QB in the NFL. The Saints are fine.

I agree. Only thing I worry about him returning 100% is that the shoulder was the throwing-shoulder. Defense did all they could through 3 quarters. Offense started strong and did all they could until the beginning of the second half. Then, they just puttered out. A few drives could have been Michael Thomas heavy, where they just got first downs with him. He gets 5-7 yards per pass and that's first down after first down.

Why not also put Graham in and set him past the 1st down marker, if not over the middle maybe along the sideline.

I think we could've have easily put at LEAST another 7 on the board before Green Bay scored that final TD. Us scoring 7 would have taken the wind out of their sails and basically have made their score and 2 point conversion useless.

I mean it was 17-3. Even a TD with 2 point conversion still made it a necessity to score a TD vs a field goal AND a 2-point conversion to win.

I think once Carr comes back, Kamara is back and gets in the groove, Adebo and Maye are back as well as Moreau and Ruiz we'll be OK. Not Superbowl bound, but OK.

We haven’t exactly lit up the scoreboard WITH Carr either.

But we limited our turnovers, hit some big plays and let our defense/special teams win it. Jameis doesn’t really play that way. He’ll either score 3 TDs or throw 3 pick sixes. More than likely its the pick sixes.

Not here to defend jameis, but when you’ve invested the amount of 1st rounders on your offensive line, you should be able to protect a 3 score 4th quarter lead running it. Right now, the offense stinks and it hasn’t mattered who is under center.
