Fumble on last drive??

Receiver fell down untouched. HB32 knocks out ball and it’s recovered. Chick ref blows it dead immediately and no time to review. HB looked pissed and convinced it should’ve been a fumble.

Someone on the Saints sideline was going nuts. Never even showed a replay. Just another reason many people are certain this sport is fixed. Like, how do you not stop and review that? The ball was knocked out.

He was rolling forward. But even then if the player is on the ground and the ball is hit, but not the player, is he down by contact? Plus they never showed a replay to see if our guy hit a finger or something.

Receiver was on the ground, so if they touched any part of him at all before the ball came loose, he’s down.

I replayed it. He went straight for the ball and it came out immediately. Only chance is a finger was touched first

Well Olave has twice fallen to the ground after taking multiple steps and dropped the ball and it was once called a fumble and once called an incompletion. Play warranted a review but of course had to let Brady play the hero even though he played like shite.

If the player is on the ground still... if HB32 hits ANYTHING (inc. just the ball) that's down by contact
