Maybe I'm completely off but didn't Gore say something to this effect last year after a loss too.

For some reason I remember Gore talking mad shite after his team got beat. I could be wrong though.

They did play well, but we handled them, and caused at least 2 turnovers, if not 3. Yards don't mean squat when your playing the Saints, if you turn it over 4 times. Talk to just about every team from last year. The 49ers would trade 150 yards for not turning the ball over 4 times any day.

I was sarcastically quoting the guy earlier in the thread.

Gore played his arse off and was the best player on the field tonight. I couldn't give 2 shits about what he says after the game. Its a non-issue.

It's better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.

I tell this to my wife all the time. 12 years later, the same results.

That ego is a hard thing to put aside sometimes. We didn't exactly stick it to 'em, but we took care of business at the end of the day. We win, Frank Gore loses.

Next!

Great player.... Stupid quotes... Don't run your mouth when you're 0-2

It is all they know. There coach does nothing but runs his mouth all day every day. He should have been flagged when he ran all the way out on the field screaming at the official.

I love all these teams that lose to the Saints and say they beat themselves! There's a reason all these turnovers happen.
