Those fans in Central Louisiana sure did support the SAINTS when they played in Baton Rouge.lol. People in Louisiana really showed up for the SAINTS when they needed your support the most. I mean yall packed Tiger Stadium for the LSU games, when the Saints played the next day with dirt cheap seats hardly anybody shows up. I'm sure the Cowboys would of drawn more fans in Tiger Stadium.

Hell when Chicago played at Memorial Stadium down in Champaign they drew a GOOD crowd for games 2hrs south of Chitown.

IDK

I know that The Miss Gulf Coast and Alabama Gulf Coast is closer to New Orleans than parts of Central LA and North LA

You are kidding yourself if you think 1/4 to 1/2 the states population supports the Texans and Cowboys

Now with Mississippi 1/2 the State probably supports the Titans and the other half the Saints

Well you have to factor in that the Chicago fans knew there were going to be games played there before the season started.

New Orleans Saints fans didn't know there would be games in New York, Baton Rouge, and San Antonio before the season started

Now if a big arse fire had burned the Chicagoland area in half (might have happened before) I'm sure the attendance at said football games in Champaign would have been different

Don't you think?

im thinking saints fans should be in the top 10 because of our history of not being good
fans still pack the dome every week even though the team hasnt been that good over its history

And this had absolutely nothing to do with that.

This is ignorant. You intend to make shite up and expect people to accept it as gospel. Dude, I haven't met a Cowturd fan since '95 and he doesn't even like them anymore.

Well hello, nice to meet you and yes I still love the Cowboys. Geaux Cowboys!

Dude, have you even read my posts. There has got to be a miscommunication somewhere. I'm questioning the very existence of Cowpie fans much less Cowturd fans in LA. Bayou2003 and I are in total disagreeance.

The Saints do not need as many network affiliates because WWL has one of the strongest signals in the country. I grew up listening to the saints we lived in San Antonio and have listened to Saints games on 870 as far away as Maryland.

"Hardly anyone showed up."
REALLY ???!!!!!!! 30,000 people who just went through the worst natural and man-made disaster (Corps of Engineers) in U.S. history? Many of those people had lost their homes, yet they still came and watched the Saints 90 miles from their home.

You are a gaping hairy babboon anus.

Not talkin about those people. Talkin about the rest of the hardcore Saints fans in other parts of Louisiana. Like the LSU fans that showed up in Baton Rouge for the LSU games the day before. I'm sure some of them lost their homes too right. Not all Saints fans are from the NOLA area. Remember Louisiana is FULL of SAINTS fans no matter what part of the state. LSU fans sure did show up,right?

The big reason people stopped going to games in Tiger Stadium after Katrina was because Tom Benson was threatening to move the team, insulted the fans and Tiger Stadium. If I remember correctly the first game against Miami was a sellout.

Exactly what I was going to say. Fans were pissed because Benson was thinking about walking out on the state in its time of need and move to San Antonio. And for the people saying there aren't Cowboys fans in LA anymore, well, I know several people from the Shreveport area who are huge Cowboys fans, unfortunately.

Does WWL 870AM really reach 40 states on a clear night?

I have a friend in Louisville, KY who said it goes up there pretty clearly on some nights.

I had my territory moved up to Wisconsin/Minnesota after Katrina and I nearly drove off the highway one night when I put "SCAN" on my car radio and I heard WWL Sportstalk come in clear as a whistle.
