that's the proper order, SaintEB

and no, Edible Dirt, he's not the only one. He is, however, one of the few that does it on a consistent basis. I have seen him run out of bounds too many times in which there wasn't a defender within 5 yards of him, so please don't act like Reggie is some tough guy who's just avoiding taking unnecessary hits.

I was actually just kinda goofing. It wasn't meant to demean Reggie. I have a man crush on him. I think the Saints need him in the lineup. Not "need" in the same sense as Breesus, but they do need him. He is very fun to watch and is an asset to the team.

Relax fellers. I know Reggie fumbles, i know he's injury prone, i know he steps out earlier than necessary sometimes...But he's still the most exciting player on the roster so sometimes you have to give a little to get...a little

He didn't make the list as he only has 1 fumble. All the information was taken from here. And no, I made the point contrary to the statement of 'what NFL RB doesn't fumble' or something to that effect, that point being that Reggie does it more often than most in the NFL.

Ok. I thought you were talking about the frequency of Reggie's fumbles. I didn't realize it was that bad.

He's still my boy though!!!

You should have taught him to run N/S when he was younger then.

Make him an all-world slot reciever. Dude has more catches than most recievers in the league and great YAC. Also great special teamer. People get so hung up on not producing YPC. He's more of a Barry Sanders, lots of bad runs but occasionally will hit it big. Dude I think had more catches than anyone ever in the NFL in a 2 year span. I think Colston did too, I'm not sure and I'm not looking it up but I know someone else will. It also has a lot to do with our offense being so pass happy.

Switch his "role" from RB to WR and do exactly what you're doing with him and keep Pierre in as short yardage/3rd down back and everyone is happy.

No?

Faulk was way better and its not even close. I'll disregard the receiving #'s b/c Peyton threw more to his WR's. More importantly, Faulk showed that he can be a successful RB in the NFL, Bush not so much.

Reggie:
Yr1: 155att/565yds 3.6ypc 6td long 18yds
Yr2: 157/581 3.7 4td long 22yds
Yr3: 106/404 3.8 2td long 43yds

12 Rushing TD's. 8rec TD's
20 Total TD's.

Faulk:
Yr1: 314/1282yds 4.1ypc 11td long 52
Yr2: 289/1078 3.7 11td long 40
Yr3: 198/587 3.0 7td long 43

29 rushing TD's. 4rec TD's
33 Total TD's.

Comparing offensive numbers like you just did shows nothing really. All it shows is that Bush had less attempts, a larger roll in a passing offense, and a ypc that increased each season. People always seem to forget that the Saints are great at spreding the ball around, so no Saint will amass large offensive numbers as long as Breesus keeps doing what he's doing. Our entire offensive unit will be #1 at the cost of giving any one player "huge" numbers. And lets not forget the return game... Apples and Oranges...
