So, we're looking at 4 RBs, plus Kamara.
It would really make sense if we could deal him to Denver (gets to play under Payton for the playoffs) for something, and just move on. He was great, but he's not the Saints present or future anymore.

I'm curious what you expect, objectively. This is Kellen Moore's team, he came in last season, and his big free agent move afterwards was signing Travis Etienne, who is his choice as the feature back.
Kamara was forced to redo his deal to stay, he's coming off a bad season (only 1 TD total) that he missed the end of with an injury, and he's hurt again. Last year was his worst, he averaged 3.6 yds a carry.
If they were both healthy, Etienne is the starter, he's younger and more productive.
Everyone else at this position is a clear backup/rotational player. Moore made a point after Kamara got hurt to sign Zamir White, and it was through a trade, so I expect him to stick around.
This isn't prime Kamara, that time has passed. Otherwise Etienne wouldn't be here.

You read the White situation way wrong. He was brought in because all our backs behind Etienne except Donald were injured, and because Jones was obviously not going to catch on here.
Once Miller and Estime were good to go and White didn't show much, it was time for him to go. Maybe he sticks back on the PS, but he was already cut from the final roster.
