Don't blame Hartley. Blame the idiot who held on the made field goal.

We just held the Packers to 28 in Lambeau and lost by 1 point on a missed/ rekicked field goal without a HC or a LB coach and not playing our best game.

We definitely have a chance to turn it around this season.

I've been saying this in different threads.
But imitation and flattery and all that.

Green Bay is a very good team.
I found today encouraging.

All these trolls expected a loss by multiple touchdowns.
Then, we lose by a point and the board melts down?

Funny isnt it. Nothing will make these people happy. Even when we win, they'll find a reason to bitch.

Honest question....do you really think there is NO reason to bitch?

You know there is.

Off the top of my head, Red zone offense.

But holy shite, there are WAY more things we improved upon since last week than we got worse on.
Pass protection finding its feet at long last alone deserves to be praised.
We needed that more than almost anything.

This isn't a team that allows me to be content with moral victories. Needed this one in the worst way, and not only did the defense play bad, they played stupid. Ellis is just a non factor. Jenkins has made Harper his role model. Loved what I saw out of the offense other than the lack of a running game. You'd think as much as this team passes, the opportunities to gash someone would be abundant. We were gifted a lot by the refs, and STILL continue to drop big passes.

I think it's alright to bitch.

Yeah, that got better but I won't say it is really fixed until it happens for at least two games in a row.

The played great in the second half. Both this week and last week. This week they came up with a super clutch INT. The offense couldnt put the game away. They had the chance. Twice. In two different games.

Im more worried about our offense. Honestly. They dont seem the same at times and drops are getting really costly. Our redzone offense, especially the play calling aspect. was deplorable.

There you go. I complained.

I'm noticing that, as games progress...the offense plays worse and the defense plays better.

Anyone else notice that?

Hardly. Got one stop, and Robinson was big with the INT. But the only reason they didn't score on the one drive is that Jenkins went UFC on Rodgers.

I don't know if I'd say great. Maybe good.

Interception was great. Yes. Fumble was luck. How many times did gb punt in the second half?

The only way I can say they played great is if they stopped them on the last drive.

They allowed 1 score in the 4th quarter. They got an INT, and a few big 3rd down stops, against Green Bay at Lambeau.

I'd call that a good day.

One good stop, and only because Rodgers over threw his receiver. Heck two Packers had a chance to catch it.

This defense showed me nothing to make me deal better about it. The Robinson pick was legit, bit that's it.
