You must be new to the train....Atlanta and N.O. have been bitter rivals since the beginning. Try spending some time in Atlanta to see how well you get treated if you mention you are a Saints fan. Living here makes me hate the Falcons even more.

I agree with the above post. Well Said!
I may have been pulling for the Falcons since they are in the South and also have been underdogs over the years if not for two things.
#1 The dirt bag Falcon fans at the dome this year who were astoundingly classless even for them.
#2 Roddy "The Tool" White and his tweets. Nobody should ever drag Katrina zingers into a game and someone like him can get F*cked for doing so.

Completely disagree. Under the current format it is about AQ by conferences. That is why you have an 8-4 Connecticut from the Big East playing in the Fiesta Bowl and getting drilled by Oklahoma. It is doubtful that you will get more than one per conference (in the current format). The impact of perception would be tremendously diminished.
But I personally would love to see an eight team BCS playoff.

I pull for the SEC in the bowls no matter who it is. But Atlanta, hope they never win another game in my life time.

I did root for Tampa Bay vs. Oakland in their SuperBowl. This was the birth year of the NFC South,so I really wasn't into the rivalry with them yet. When the Panthers played the Pats I remember not giving a frick who won. Saw Janet Jackson's boob
