At what point are you going to criticize the players for not preforming? I am pretty sure Pete Carmichael knows how to call plays dude been In the nfl for more than a decade. But yeah let’s change the whole offensive scheme and coach so we can struggle even more with players having to learn a whole new playbook . Seriously tho it’s time for a rebuild so yeah while we rebuilding that would be a perfect time to introduce a new offensive coach . I think a lot of people thought this would be the saints year (I don’t know why but y’all did ) we were a favorite to make the playoffs with the league weakest schedule at one point. Every other nfc south team is ahead of the saints in terms of rebuilding for the future. Saints rather sign a couple vets to go 8-8 every year .

That’s how you start a rebuild gotta do it through the draft . Which you have to suck for a few years . Look at the lions went through a few dark years built through the draft now they’re one of the best teams in the nfl . Just how the nfl is .I don’t think no big time free agent would want to live in New Orleans also . So that’s a factor with trying to throw money at big name free agents

This has been the case since the end of the Drew Brees and CSP era. Carmichael sucks, been saying it. He even sucked when CSP was suspended that one year. Loomis must put his friendship aside and do what's right for the team.

Just because he's been in the NFL for over a decade doesn't mean HE is good at calling plays. Because he isn't and never was.

You think he all of a sudden forgot football? He been our OC technically since 2009 lol wasn’t the Saints offense pretty explosive back then ? Yeah it was cause guess what ? We actually had a talented players

Having a Hall of Fame QB in your backfield makes a huge difference. Drew could make players look better than they are. Pete sucked at play-calling in 2011-2012 when CSP was out for the year he was suspended even with Drew at QB.
My dad told me before the season started that the Saints coaching staff was rated last or near the bottom he saw on TV.
I think Carmichael is a good administrator and management part of coaching when he has a solid leader and play caller above him on the coaching ladder.

This franchise has never in all of its history been capable of building a Super Bowl contending roster using the Draft.

And that’s why this franchise only won one Super Bowl . Although a lot of people that contributed that season were top tier draft picks

Loomis is a BIG part of the problem. He has zero accountability and could care less. Fire him and start over.
