Even more pissed at Loomis.

Because of him DA stuck around as long as he did. If he were fired before the Carolina game, I really feel that the Saints would have won. With the way the division is going that one game could have salvaged this season. Loomis’ stubborn arse needs to go.

I've said before, I was a Loomis apologist, but he's completely lost me.
I understood the why (continuity) for the DA hire, but to continue to champion him as an NFL quality head coach with the references to HOF coaches is complete nonsense.

I don't have any faith in Benson getting rid of Loomis.
Even if the Saints miss the playoffs by one game he will still weasel his way into an extension.

If that's the case, then Mickey isn't immune. But the most logical or best scenario is Mickey stepping aside as GM and maintain his executive roles. Dude has the golden spot and isn't going completely away, just need him to move a bit away.

Loomis should have fired DA after the Cowboys game like I was telling everyone in Week 2. But I got crapped on for that blasphemy
