Drew Brees GOAT, again

Will obviously only be a footnote, but twice in his career, Brees has brought his team back from 17-point deficits in the playoffs, on the road against top-2 scoring defenses from that season (Minn #1, SF #2 in 2011), only to lose on final play defensive meltdowns.
You never know when you'll make it back, so this loss sucks bad, but a little positivity for the best stretch of football in Saints history.
Scary to think that with the addition of another really good receiving threat, this offense can be even better next year.

And to think if Bress hadn't been so careless with the ball early on, they wouldn't eve have two TD's...

If he was so great, they wouldn't have been in those deficits.

Are you actually arguing that Brees is not great?

He played like shite in the first half but I wouldn't say careless. The defensive lineman that tipped the pass for one of the interceptions had his back turned.

I hate having to rely on the defense at the end. I was hoping they could run the clock all the way down then kick the FG

Exactly, and if that freak tip doesn't happen, Michael Thomas likely scores on the play.
Sometimes you just have to the defense credit for making the play.

He’s on the current NFL QB Mount Rushmore. He’s the reason we are never out of a game. He has redefined this organization. He is the reason for Saints relevance in the 21st century.
So GTF.

Drew was reaching for the Microsoft surface pro with 30 seconds in the game- just in case. He wasn’t celebrating.

He’s better than brady. I didn’t see any throws in the Titan game Taysom Hill couldn’t make
