I saw about 5 minutes of Chris Carter’s podcast where his lackey sidekick asked him if Drew Brees was a top 5 QB of all time. He said no, he couldn’t put him ahead of Brady (I get that), Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Brett Favre, John Elway, Dan Marino, Warren Moon… maybe one or two others. Good thing statistics are objective.
Drew Brees ranks second all-time in NFL history in career passing yards (80,358), passing touchdowns (571), and pass completions (7,142), trailing only Tom Brady in those major categories. He also ranks third all-time in career completion percentage at 67.7%.

Passing Yards: 2nd (80,358 yards)
Passing Touchdowns: 2nd (571 TDs)
Pass Completions: 2nd (7,142 completions)
Pass Attempts: 2nd (10,551 attempts)
Historic Records & Milestones
5,000-Yard Seasons: Holds the NFL record with five individual seasons passing for over 5,000 yards.
Consecutive Games with a TD: Previously held the record with 54 straight games with a touchdown pass.

Unless I missed it, it was also very surprising to see that he didn't mention a single player on the offensive line.

Knowing Drew he probably called every teammate in his career leading up to the speech to thank them personally. If he started naming teammates up there he'd forget one he shouldn't forget, might as well lump them all together in his golden thread line. It was perfect
