Doesn't get easier next week

Falcons coming off their best game with extra days off. If we have playoff aspirations, this is a must win.

Teams with their backs against the wall tend to overperform then underperform the week after a win. It is literally a betting strategy that is proven.

This will be unpopular, but I don't really care that much about making the playoffs. There is a 0.0% chance this team wins the SB this year even if they do make the playoffs. I care a lot more about the young players growing & developing, the team gelling, and just getting more game experience and proving they can win games.
I would like them to get some playoff experience, but I'm not going to sweat winning specific games or worrying about seeding this year.

I sorta agree; but in this division, not winning it would make me think our young guys didn't have a good year.

One loss against a good Raiders team and this fan base turns into the biggest bunch of women I’ve ever seen.
It’s the NFL. You need to win every game. There are no easy games. But let’s get real here. Green Bay is fricking awful. They were slaughtered by the Vikings, should have lost to the Jets and then lost by 21 to the Falcons.
Sure, the Falcons may not be as bad as they were when they had Rush starting but they’re not all of a sudden some juggernaut. Some of yall need to get a grip.

Based on the season so far, if we finish 8-9 or 9-8, and miss the playoffs I wouldn’t be disappointed. We’ve had close games and close losses…against good teams. We haven’t had the luxury of playing the Dolphins, Chargers or any basement dwellers. But the schedule lightens up after next week for a while. That’s when we’ll find out more about the team.
That stretch from Giants to the Browns/Panthers will determine the season.
