Lots of Lions fans in the crowd. They seem to travel great like Steeler, Cowboys and Packers fans.
I never knew that they had such a traveling fan base.

When was the last time a Detroit team was worth seeing on the road?

They are giddy because they don’t suck this year

They’ve won 1 playoff game in 60+ years. That stat is insane

As a Lions fan If I could leave Detroit in the winter come to New Orleans and live it up for the weekend and watch my team after decades of sucking kickass at a game I got front row tickets to go see for like 20 dollars...why would I pass that up

Sounds like a good way to spend your winter but I never imagined that there would be that many Lions fans for a road game. I always viewed them as more of a regional fan base.

They are having a good year and have a boxers chance to win the conference
Remember in 2006 when you couldn't get tickets to the dome? Your best chance to catch a game if you weren't a season ticket holder already was to head out to Dallas, Atlanta or some other games that were on schedule that season
Long starved Detroit fans will travel this year especially for a fun away game like New Orleans which I would go out on a limb and say beats Chicago, Green Bay, or Minnesota
Edit: fun as in a fun place to travel to. Not a fun game.

Detroit is my number two team. I’ve been to some of their road games . None of them are still in Detroit so they travel well since most of Detroit is in Florida or Texas now

Detroit has a winning record. Everybody knows Saints suck this year
Chance to hang out in one of the party cities of America and leave the winter of Detroit
So why not?
