Exactly. These guys are more likely to go with Brees over Mahomes. They know Mahomes will have several more opportunities over his career to win MVP. Being this maybe Drew's last chance, the possibilities are high they vote for Brees.

I do agree to some extent with Sela though. These writers have a deep relationship with the league that, I believe (hope), will come through in the vote.

shite, I wish Cowherd had one, he had a segment a while back saying how much Drew deserves the MVP.
