Just watched Case Keenum's tape week 3 vs bucs. He can really sling it deep and Thielen and Diggs are studs. We will need Drew Brees' best game of his life to beat this defense in that building. This defense will get exposed a bit as it has been the last few weeks.

I think the better question is do the Vikings have a chance. Kamara is going to be the difference this time even if it's as a decoy.

Renee, thoughts?

quote:

Case Keenum closed out the regular season with multiple touchdown passes in six of his final nine starts and elevated home-game efficiency with a 68.9% completion rate, 7.75 yards-per-attempt average, and 100.1 passer rating at U.S. Bank Stadium versus 66.4%, 7.05 YPA, and a 96.8 rating on the road

quote:

. Despite finishing 17th in the NFL in attempts (481), Keenum ranked top 12 in 20-plus-yard completions (45) and now draws a Saints defense that yielded the league’s third-most 20-plus-yard pass plays (57). Per PFF, 12.5% of Keenum’s passes were thrown 20 or more yards downfield, the NFL’s 11th-highest rate among 34 qualified quarterbacks.

All of those numbers are great and Keenum is a very good NFL QB, but this is the playoffs, it's different and he's never been here before.

It is time to tighten chin straps;
sit back and zip the mouth flaps.

No more worries, the time is now.
Keep faith and let the players wow.

Positive thoughts and festive cheer;
time to drink kegs of beer.

The 0-2 start is far away;
bless our boys, rule the day.

Keenum has been outstanding, I’m not underestimating him. However, I also wont underestimate the Vikings ability to choke in the post season. I give us around a 40% chance.

Some stuff to chew on, though

-Brees against Zimmer, 15 TD 2 INT
-Zimmer has had terrible post season success
-QBs in their first post season starts usually struggle

No what we will need is classic Sean P and for him to call one of the best games of his life against Zimmer

Case Keenum is a piece of garbage. A one hit wonder who will end up like Nick Foles. We've seen his type more often than not.

I look at this game exactly like the Bears game from 06 season. Saints belong there, but sadly cannot beat this team on the road.

Our injuries are the biggest issue.

That 2006 team was an upstart in a very weak NFC. Wouldn't say they belonged.

Every time the Saints have won as of late I have been doing work, prepping for the week.

I did not do any work prep the weeks the Saints lost.

Should I prep for work tomorrow during the game?
