I mean ... I’m sure they wish there was a better option. With Rodgers and Wilson off the table, the next best talented QB is Watson who obviously has a ton of baggage and unknowns.
After that, it’s realistically splitting hairs among mediocre QBs that are unlikely to be good enough to win a Super Bowl. Jameis being near the top of that list.
Unfortunately it’ll take really sucking and being in the right position in the right draft in the next few years to get the true successor to Brees. We always knew this day was coming.

Read an article late last night that said Saints (and other teams) are waiting to see what happens Friday w Watson; and Winston is front runner but the other 2 they are looking at are Watson & Tribusky. No mention of Jimmy G in the article
