Tom Benson has done nothing but roll over and play dead since the bounty gate fiasco. He has no power whatsoever among NFL owners and he hasn't done a thing to defend this franchise. The truth is, these owners care about one thing, money. As long as the money keeps rolling in, they could give a shite what happens on the field.

Of course, senile Tom Benson signed off like a good little soldier. He doesn't know who the Commissioner currently is, where he is, and he sure as hell doesn't remember Bounty Gate or the screw job the NFL gives the Saints with the schedule and officiating we get from the league office. But I am positive he rubber stamped it - like always.

I would tend to believe that Benson isn't signing off on much lately. I would bet that Gail is glued to his hip and signing for him.
