yes. Drew was drafted one pick before David Clyde.
He also beat Andy Roddick at tennis. Wimbledon, I think.
He also played basketball. If there were a 4-pt shot from beyond halfcourt he would take every shot from there. Why waste time with 3 ptrs?
He is also a horse-breeding stud. I don't mean he's good at it. I mean he actually is the stud. His sperm has won more triple crown races than Secretariat.
Beckham tries to bend it like Brees.
Frisbee golf first ballot HoF'er.
I may be forgetting something, but this is a good start.

He also taught Chuck Norris the round house kick.

Actually he never got drafted.
He told MLB that He would be ineligible to be drafted due to the unfair advantage that team would have.
So He and MLB decided to allow Him to have His own team, comprised of ONLY Himself on it, where He would play all positions, at once. After watching the Bugs Bunny episode, "Baseball Bugs", both He and MLB decided that not only could it be done, but if a cartoon rabbit can do it, so could HE.

I hear Mike wants to be like Drew.

You should be shot for forgetting his curling background. He single handedly pushed the US Team to be the favorite in the 72 winter games, only to have his eligibility stripped due to an overwhelming amount of awesomeness. The Swiss later dominated the games and took home gold.

Drew Brees blows bubbles with "Now 'n Laters"

No he did not get drafted. Someone made up the fact that he was drafted by the Cubs in the second round in another thread.

Correct. I actually went back and looked from the years '95-'02, just to be sure, and His name did not come up.
But when I came to the thread, I had to go along with the awesomeness.

This. Drew Brees (along with everyone in the world) knows that the competitive balance in MLB is garbage. He didn't want to make it worse.

This is a good thread, best one on here in a while... Drew Brees also ran a touchdown and dunked the goalpost.... Oh wait that really did happen
