Derek Carr with Oblique Excuse is worse than Brees in 2020

Opposing Defenses:
Go ahead and load the box and play press with your Corners. Carr doesn’t trust his arm to attempt more than a 12 yard downfield pass (unless it is 4th & 4).

Our receivers were Cedric Wilson and Scantling, who we just signed. I don't think his oblique muscle was the reason he didn't throw deep. Also, Brees was old and injured.

I didnt think Carr was that bad this game.
We rolling with an UDFA rookie at receiver, and two receivers off the trash heap that other teams cut and didn’t want.
We probably had the two worst #3 and #4 receivers in the entire league at the start of the season. And now they are your top receivers. It goes back to management and their decisions.
