Dennis Allen said earlier that Stephone Anthony’s issues come from “his understanding of what we’re trying to ask him to do.”

CJ Spiller couldn't learn the playbook, at least that is what the rumors say.

2nd play from scrimmage is a TD with Seattle after being there for a week.

It isn't that complicated of a game

Anthony had a history of clemson of being slow to come around. he's gonna get another year but next year he better get it... or else he gonna get it.

he took 3 years to understand Buffalo's offense. That is a well known fact as to why Fred Jackson stole a lot of his playing time. As to why I never understood you'd chase after him instead of Shane Vereen who does everything you wanted from that position and comes from a complicated offense as well.

You make it sound like he blew up last sunday, he had 17 total yards and a TD. Guess that wheel route he ran for a 80 yard overtime TD win vs dallas last year speaks volumes on good IQ.

I wasn't saying he has a good IQ. I'm saying you can teach him a vet 10 plays in 1.5 seasons

Only 1 more TD to match his Saints total....

Hmmm...where did Spiller go to college? Seems to be a lot of that going on over there.

If they knew he was dumb as shite why the hell would they draft him? The Saints FO is a fricking clown show.

Look I'm not one of those LSU guys either but its about damn time they went after some of those tigers. They are 50 fricking minutes down the road and these idiots have avoided them for 10 years strong!!

Kind of a dumb quote. So he does not understand what the coaches are TRYING to ask him to do?

Thats quite a leap you just made. Can't be a starter yet so he's dumb as sh!t.

Geez. Coaches just publicly called him a dumbass. Maybe something like, "he's still learning all the checks to make sure he and his teammates are in the best position to make a the play".

Something positive is what I'm saying. I'd be canned as a manager if I outed an employee like that. Not to mention it's kind of throwing him under the bus. Maybe it can be justified if it's due to a lack of effort. But this doesn't sound like that.

Ill never trust one of our coaches to determine things like this. If we let him go he'd immediately see the field and excel somewhere else. He's better than Lauranitis at MLB

Anthony got a 23, Laurinatis got a 24.
