We should have punted on that 4th and 5 or whatever it was. Dennis Allen is not a head coach.

Not gonna lie. I loved the Ditka hire. I always liked his personality and he brought a lot of attention to the franchise. No one knew being out of the game that long and him acting semi retired once he got hired would happen.
Plus he had no qb. It was an acceptable hire at the time because he won a superbowl.
Allen never had a winning season.

He is the 16th worst coach record wise in nfl history. The only one to coach after 2020 of the top 20 worst. 7 of those top 20 ended up getting a 6th season. Hopefully Allen does not.

Hank was passed his prime and he knew it. My Dad and him were friends. He thought he had some more in him but after 2 years, he knew he was done. He had said that he had to be really convinced by Mecom, who was a master salesman.....plus Mecom was paying well.
