Just saw your reply. Just about everything I have seen shows he is a FA in '21 and has a prorated signing bonus of $2M that will hit. However, Over the Cap shows he's still under contract in '21, but it's a voidable year. So, I'm not sure what to believe, but I know they are not going to let him reach that roster bonus without some sort of restructure/extension.
Edit: Also just noticed there is a random extra $15k in his total. No idea where that comes from either

So the Saints need to cut around $96M to get under the $185M. But, they need even more room to be able to refill the roster.
If I recall correctly (can't find article/blog), they will have about $12M to rollover from unused space in 2020...so they may only need to clear $84M

Don't think they franchise him with the current cap.

What happens if a team waited to get under the cap by 6/2?
There are bigger cap savings for post June 2nd cuts.

I doubt you can get a trade for him, even if use the tag. Honestly, you only use the tag if you know you are going to resign him long term. Otherwise, its an insane gamble that hasn't worked out for several teams.
