Sport, you obviously weren't a Saints fan in the '70s, '80s and '90s. Were the losses in the NFC Championship Game? No, but they stung for true fans.
The 62-7 Opening Day loss in '73 to Atlanta was wonderful to experience. 62-7. Really.
Butting up against the 49ers in the old NFC West when the Saints were the second-best team in the Conference....tough.
Don't ask a thirty or forty year Saints fan if they can handle any type of losing. They can.
