Could the saints players and staff have a civil suit with the NFL?

They can make the point that there is admission that contracted employees of the NFL cost the Saints players and coaches from bonuses within their contract for making the Super Bowl, and potentially the 225k if they it.

Honestly, I’m waiting for it.

I’d love to get my money back from yesterday’s game but I’m not a season ticket holder.

It’s the perfect storm really. Rule 17 exists, the CB admitted he was guilty of penalty and he clearly expected flag, and the league admitted they blew the call. All that leads to replaying game with 1:40 left on clock for us to go into victory formation until there’s just a couple ticks left on the clock where we’d kick essentially an extra point for the game winning FG

Players very easily have potential for a lawsuit.

Al Riveron really screwed over the NFL in that respect when he said that they fricked up the call.
