2 catches yesterday I saw and immediately said those are big plays if that's Brown of years 4, 5 and 6.

i mean damn you could be right about areas needing improvement but there's no factual evidence to support that Cooks can't develop and improve. Cooks is actually very very young even for a sophmore. He's a year younger than Beckham and Landry just for reference.

Brown through 2 seasons:

1,275 yards; 2 TDs

Cooks through 2 seasons (with injury):

1,666 yards; 13 TDs. And he's come on strong as of late too

Hmmmmm. Crazy how players seem to grow with experience

Not the player I thought we drafted = bust

In general speak of course he's not a bust

He is not the guy who can make something ouf of nothing. He cannot be the guy that can carry Brees late in his career you know the type of player you can just chuck it to and routinely get fluke plays. Brees is still throwing into tight coverage and he doesn't use his hands to help he uses his chest.

This is why I cannot stand cooks, I am still Angry we did not draft Landry.

How about this I wish Cooks had some of Landrys skills with that speed. That's pretty much all I'm saying and Landry is a man, he is tough.

So then this

Is idiotic.

Comprehend the failure of your logic

And, he was drafted to be our #2 option too....

quote:

And Landry wishes he had the deep threat. I wish we would have drafted Landry too

Cooks is far more of a game changer with the deep threat. He's been crushing it

Cooks has more yards, ypa, and TDs than Landry.

Bit will he stop going down on 1st contact?

Will he stop goong out of bounds?

Will he have some elusiveness in his game?

Will he look to get as many possible yards as he can on each and every play?

Will he beat press better?

Will he high point footballs OR AT LEAST TRY?

I know he won't until then he is simply not very good. You have not answered this yet

And again you bring up stats. Bring up the fact Brees is throwing to him also.

granted we have a HOF qb, but we are getting very good production out of cooks when you compare to sammy watkins and price buffalo paid for him. Cooks has made great strides this year, dude is 22, he's only going to get better next 2-3 years.

Remains to be seen. He's still not a bust

It is intelligent to go out of bounds for receivers if there are multiple defenders with the angle. I'd rather a healthy receiver. Avoiding unnecessary hits are an important part of staying healthy

What have you been watching the last 8 weeks? He's dominating guys who try to press him and leaving them in his dust

Man stfu of dude you obviously don't know what the frick you're talking about. Brown ALWAYS had those skills, that is natural ability

Only thing he got better at was route running why the frick you think they let Wallace go?

I don't even criticize Cooks for route running. Stat watching saints fans

He just waited to show them?

He couldn't even get on the field as an every down player his rookie season

And he became the best route runner in the NFL and worked at getting off the LoS. Something cooks has also greatly improved on

Answer this:

How is Cooks scoring 8 TDs in the last 8 games not game changing? That is literally game changing abilitt

Couldn't even? Yeah because 6th round picks are supposed to walk right in and be superstars. I expected my 1st round WR to do so or at least show me qualities of a star instead he has qualities of niche player like Desean Jackson.

By your statement you've proved you don't know shite about AB/Pitt situation you are stat watching

I am not talking about route running

real Playmaker

He has always been elusive, he always wanted to not go down and get more yards.

This should not be hard to understand. I know you'll fight to ends earth to defend a saint just as you would if Graham was still here I get it.

When year 4-5 comes were not winning he'll suddenly become overrated by you.

I called Jimmy Graham out as soon as Talib shut him down I knew he was exposed. But again y'all don't accept it until he might be gone.

That's cool but Cooks does it when it's only one guy after him. I am not talking about multiple men

You're the one who brought up the comparison and said it was natural ability that he always had. You're moving the goal posts. Also, Cooks has clearly smashed that

Can't back it up...if he had it from day 1, why couldn't he get on the field from day 1?

You literally brought up route running. Derp

Literally no one gives a shite. Was Graham a bust too in your eyes?

Do you think Cooks is the reason we're not winning?

You brought up the Reggie earlier. Was Reggie not a bust because we won?

Seems like you did bring it up.

Now where did I say that you claimed Cooks needed to improve it

Derp

Through 2 years of their careers, who was a better receiver: AB or Cooks? Cooks is now the same age as Brown when Brown entered the league too...

Beating press and running the route are 2 diffrent animals stop trying to save face. You haveto complete a route after beating coverage of course and Cooks is solid here. With his speed he should get better I agree on that one.

Ab is a fricking kick returner dude of course he was always elusive and good with the ball in his hands. How in frick can you not understand this?? This is the skills "he always possessed" stupid

Idgaf derp Cooks had to be taken off return becuase he did not possess these skills and that shows in his game now.

HE IS NOT GOOD WITH THE BALL IN HIS HANDS NOR WILL HE EVER BE.

Derp
