DA went on Jay Glazer’s podcast and said that the day after the Panthers game, Loomis went into DA’s office and told him behind closed doors that the decision to fire him was not his.

Christ…

I take this as a positive that maybe Gayle is realizing Loomis sucks.

he did tell us Dennis Allen was like Bill Walsh, Landry, Chuck Noll, and Belichick

This is the part I don’t get. He should have gotten rid of Allen last year after the falcons debacle. But to come back and double down on how great a head coach he is…then defend him again when the owner fires him.

If any of you have a daughter, tell her to find a man who loves her as much as Loomis loves Dennis Allen.

Loomis thinking firing DA wasn't the right move is reasonable.

Loomis stating that to DA as he's firing him is 100% inexcusable and a slap in the face to the person who did want him fired.

Mickey Loony..........wait, to call him stupid would be an insult to the word stupid. Not sure a word to describe Loony has been invented yet.

I hope Gayle said, its you or him and if you choose him, the next time firing comes around there wont be a choice. I will start over.

Why does Loomis still have a job then?? God I wish I had that type of job security he does.

Loomis has the job security of a Weatherman.

I’ve had to do things to subordinates back in the day that I didn’t agree with, that leadership wanted done. When I did those things, I never told the subordinate it wasn’t my decision. They always thought it was my decision. Other than being terrible at his job, I would fire Loomis just for that.

Yes, that’s called “insubordination.” And once it’s made public, the subordinate should be fired, as if his recent job performance wasn’t reason enough.
