I never let the defense off the hook and you can find multiple quotes over the last few years of me saying the D is overrated and absolutely terrible in late game situations under Allen. That choke job against Goedert nearly feels inevitable at this point.
You don't have any football knowledge so settle down sparky. The defense was on the field entirely too long and Howden fricked up the play to Goedert

Proximo, you don’t know what you’re talking about football knowledge wise.
Allen’s D wasn’t good enough yesterday in a late game situation yet again. They also made some crucial plays early to prevent scoring opportunities, aided by the stupidity of Philly’s coach, but they were completely beat down yesterday to the tune of 460 yards of offense.
Remember when everyone was losing their minds over the Saints performance on offense vs Dallas. That was 432 yards total. Philly destroyed the Saints D yesterday and Sirianni helped bail us out.

To a degree, without Hill the offense wasn’t any good. That’s a fact. Without Hill, Carr doesn’t have the same opportunities and the offense isn’t the same. This wasn’t a game the Saints lost because it’s the same old Saints, even with an o-lineman going down. Everything changed because Hill didn’t play, and that’s a problem. I wholeheartedly believe if he’s healthy and plays the Saints win by 3 scores.
Losing Erik McCoy and having to shuffle the line was huge. Penning is still a liability and udoh isn't very good. The saints have to have McCoy, Patrick, and ruiz up the middle. They are perfect for this blocking where and run game. They can get out and run. Fuaga also.
