It's not as if the team wasn't trying to address the issues on their offensive line, but the Carr injury has had to bring a new sense of urgency, especially since it looks like Carr is playing Sunday.

You can't afford to have him injured again which forces you to come up with a very different offensive game plan than you had the first 3 weeks.

Before Carr was injured he utilized Tony Jones Jr. as a check down option 4 times and he was able to pick up decent yardage. This should be more potent with Kamara returning.

We could also see more use of the tightends and possibly some screens, which has all but been non-existent this year.

Bottom line this injury has sped up any changes that were going to be made because there's no room for error.

I'm expecting a much different offense Sunday. Whether it will be effective or not, idk but it HAS to be different.

That ship has sailed, we’re stuck with 3-1sts round busts on the OL (Penning, Ruiz, and Peat). Ram and McCoy aren’t what they were 2 years ago so we have about a 17 PPG offense. It is what it is.

I'm talking about play calling and the game plan in general. You change those to suit what you have in your players.

This is pretty reasonable,. not sure why there’s an ever-pervasive pessimism here

you better get used to the real possibility that this is a problem that is incapable of being solved.

Screen plays may be our only savior this year. If they can't block at the line, let them run downfield and set a wall of big men blocking for Kamara or Jones.

I have thought that. And that is a real possibility.

I guess what I'm saying is IF it can be fix this is the week we see significant changes because of the health of Carr.
