There are better option out there. Saints can draft a QB might be the future. Carr is best option right now starring them in the face. He is good enough win the division. Maybe, a heathly MT13 will definitely helped.

I just don't think he's worth the money, but that's just my opinion. I would rather the Saints try to fix the cap at this point unless it was for a truly elite QB.
