I’m still perplexed about this.
I really thought we’d move Penning to LG where I think he’d fit best. Fuaga at RT and resign Peat to LT. Then have Salvadari as the top backup.
Really thought the front office would go with this plan in the offseason. But they didn’t make much effort to resign Peat.

I think they underestimated how good Peat was compared to how bad some of these young guys are. Truth is the Saints have done a shite job drafting olineman recently. Hoping Fuaga breaks that trend.

I just think Peat wanted out. Never seemed happy here and fans wanted him gone as well.

They tried go bring peat back. He wanted to go out west where he is from.
The problem was not replacing peat, at minimum.
