Can someone better than me post a gif of the interception in OT? There was another clear no call there we all missed.

Two missed calls. Roughing the passer on Fowler (2 blatant hands right to his face) and since the ball was not tipped it should have been interference.

This no call was a just as bad kill shot to effectively seal our fate.

The narrative that Drew cost us the game is totally false.

Is there a still of Fowler’s hands to the face? I want to use this against my local Brees hater but want to be sure it actually happened. (I was breaking stuff when it showed the replay)

Devil's advocate: Rams player is looking at the ball and Thomas had no idea where it was.

Still should have been roughing the passer, and still should have ended in the 4th. But at least this one has some kind of explanation as opposed to the royal frick job on 3rd down.

That hit on Brees was definitely roughing the passer by definition.

The defender clearly interfered and held before the INT.

But no one cares because if that PI/Targeting wasn’t called, then what did we expect?

Maybe I just didn't see the call, but did anyone figure out why LA was granted that timeout on what should have been a 4th down after the play had finished? Didn't LA end up scoring on that drive?

that's definitely defensive holding at least

5 yards and an auto 1st

ETA: and defensive holding means it doesn't matter if the ball is tipped or not and whether MT13 or the defender are looking for the ball or not

That does not give the DB the right to grab and hold a WR while the ball is in the air or even make that kind of contact more than 5 yards down the field.

I had a huge problem with this and it hasnt been talked about.

WHY was this not Holding or PI..................saints would still have had the ball. I screamed at the TV then too.

Terrible.
