The smart thing would be to first offer season ticket holders the option to opt out for the year. A decent percentage will take them up on that offer because of all of the bull shite going on.
Even from a virus standpoint there may be a percentage that do not feel comfortable about being in the stadium. If that were say, 10-15%., that would at least eliminate some from the "lottery."

It should be by seniority. I work with a guy who has been to every Saints game at home since 1967, with the exception of the Katrina season. The fact that a guy who has had season tickers for not even a year can win tix over a season ticket holder who has been paying for years sucks. Saints need to show loyalty here if it comes to it

Same here. Someone I work with has done the same. Yet, when the lottery for tickets to the SuperBowl was pulled, he got nothing.

The super bowl selection lottery was weighted based on seniority & amount of tickets per account. I don’t know how it could get any more fair, really.

There were only 4K tickets dispersed, in pairs of 2. So like .05% were lucky enough to win tickets.

If they do a true lottery I will be fricking pissed. It better have some kind of priority based on length of holding tickets. If some frick who got tickets last year gets them over me I will be furious.

And I’m assuming if somehow you don’t get picked I get to keep a credit on my account for when I can use the tickets? Because they didn’t have a problem collecting the 2nd payment at the end of May.

Excuse me? In what’s likely to Brees last year, having been a season ticket holder since 01, I will be furious if I miss games over someone with less priority.

I agree with this and the only fair way to do it is to go odd and even.

The schedule is already set so just say that half of the fans get 1,3,5 and 7 and the other half gets 2,4,6 and 8.

The only thing I can figure is how you social distance.

Are you sitting seats 1-2 and then leaving 3-4 and then what about sitting Row 12 and then sitting Row 13.

I see the spaces seat idea getting sticky real quick. It’s not like everyone’s got a pair of seats that can be easily split up.
