Having no fans in the stands in the second half of that complete utter arse whooping by green bay at home is the ultimate in 'pathetic' to me.

But the fact that you guys are the only team to ever lose in the playoffs to a team with a losing record... ouch! To make excuses is well, pathetic.

during our dream season we won the superbowl

during your dream season you gave up 40 to the 6 seed at "home"

Technically the Falcons best season was '98 when we went to the Super Bowl but lost.

Splitting hairs but just thought I'd correct.

No it wasn't...but screw you guys.

San Diego is a beast in the regular season
Chiefs made the playoffs, have Jamaal Charles and co. with a good defense
Oakland, aside of Nnamdi's soon departure are on the rise, they just need to beat teams outside of the division

Yeah you could probably throw the NFC North ahead of them...I went off the top of my head.

I didn't name the AFC West in anything.

The AFC West is terrible. The NFC East should be in their place.

Put the NFC North in the mix. GB won the Superbowl. CHI went to the NFC championship. DET is on the rise and might make the playoffs if Stafford stays healthy. MIN will struggle but you can't really count them out as long as they have AP.

Screw that, the the Steelers and Ravens alone make the AFC North better than the NFC North or NFC East

As much as I'd love to get on here and hate on the falcons, I have to respect the talent they have on offense now. Yeah, tampa is the youngest and has the biggest upside, but I just don't see falcons falling off anytime soon. Especially with that great home record...

I agree, but everyone else does have a valid point. Atlanta had every bounce go their way last year. I don't see them doing as well as last year, but they'll still be relevant imo. 10-6 or 9-7 imo. Even better if Julio Jones plays well.
